an organization that sponsors an event. Normally only a few selected organizations are allowed to become sponsors, have a booth, private events in the Binance area, networking possibilities, talks, panel participations, etc

Can you share an update on how close/far the Dusk team is from starting to perform settlements on the Dutch stock exchange?

the rollout plan is the following:
- launch Dusk as DA+consensus+settlement layer for DuskEVM
- rollout of Zedger beta + tokenization of the first assets in mirroring mode
- connection to the EU central bank (T2S) + on-chain settlement of security transactions
- tokenization of assets in leading mode and operating assets from wallet directly
- on-chain trading + clearance

DuskEVM is gonna be on Testnet very soon. DuskPay depends on the EMT standard that is now complete and will be rolled out asap. Zedger Beta is also complete but we are gonna launch it with assets tokenized.

Zedger is an application protocol and therefore can be implemented on any kind of architecture. Most likely we are gonna have EVM and Piecrust versions of it
but as it turns out, we discovered that Dusk can be a very potent modular chain that we can extend with different executions layers

Can you explain how the dusk and quantoz partnership is important if quantoz already has mica compliant USDQ/EUROQ that are not running on Dusk? Is it to provide redundancy/reliability?

For Quantoz we are an extremely valuable partner. Dusk is working with NPEX to implement settlement & clearance. In order to do clearance on-chain we need digital EUR and Quantoz is gonna provide that. In order to get into the clearing use case Quantoz sorely needs Dusk/NPEX as no other protocol+institution is working on that

the first simulations we are running show that by using DLT, NPEX is gonna be orders of magnitude cheaper than Euronext. Plus, it can offer:
- 24/7 trading
- fractionalization of assets
- instant settlement
- no CCP margin costs
- no settlement costs
- no brokerage intermediation costs

DuskEVM is public right? Any plans for a privacy preserving L2?

DuskEVM will have BLS12-381 as well as PlonK precompiles and we will add the proper host functions. Zedger circuits will be available there so we can add the privacy layer
HOWEVER, we are prioritizing speed, tooling, and adoption. Privacy is important, but we will introduce it at a second moment in the EVM

Evm to risc-v will it affect ligthspeed?

Risc-V is awesome, but it is years away to be able to properly sandbox contracts. In that sense, I am not at all convinced that it will be advantageous compared to WASM

you can think of that as an extension since the other tokenization platforms do not normally have corporate actions, privacy-preserving swaps, nor support zk digital identity protocol

But why still institutions using Transparent System for issuing asset? Like buidl of blackrock. dont they want privacy?

they do but the technology is pretty new and they are going at it step-by-step
also, it’s not that they have a choice at the moment. There is no protocol that is offering privacy alongside tokenization. And those that do tokenization are normally SaaS providers that use blockchain in the backend (Tokeny, Fireblocks, etc). So they provide privacy by means of centralization
