Progress Update: Road to Modular Architecture

The progress on achieving our goal of modular architecture on Dusk is moving steadily and everything is on track. We want to keep you closely in the loop, so here’s an update on the current progress:

:small_blue_diamond: Blobs

  • Development is done.
  • You can already see Blobs live on devnet here: Dusk Explorer
  • The changes from devnet will be moved to testnet in the near future.

:small_blue_diamond: L1 Bridge

  • Smart contract is done.
  • Web wallet support is partially complete. We’re currently working on tying the contract with the UI by adding a data driver and a withdrawal relaying service which is currently being worked on in parallel.

:small_blue_diamond: DuskEVM testnet

  • Testnet has been running for a couple of weeks with internal testing.
  • This helped us optimize performance further, a few bugs were fixed, and others are currently being addressed.
  • We’re doing some final work in preparation to open it up to public testnet.
  • You can already check the DuskEVM explorer (Blockscout) here: https://l2-blockscout.evm-test.dusk.network/

This evolution to a modular architecture cuts integration costs and timelines while preserving the privacy + compliance advantages which set Dusk apart from other networks.

Our strategy has been carefully designed to deliver real adoption and replace inefficiencies in today’s financial markets with programmable, compliant, and privacy-preserving infrastructure.

We’re getting closer to tying it all together, and we couldn’t be more excited and confident in the future of Dusk!
